Here's something for your newsletter: Anyone who doesn't use Gary Stapp to sell their house is just throwing money away. Several of my friends tried to convince me to use their agents, telling me that I would get part of the commission back as cash. However, the math doesn't work out. Would I rather have an extra 1% of $400,000 in my pocket, (the price they were telling me) or the extra $72,000 that Gary got for my house? The answer is simple: Gary earns his commission fair and square. Gary works with some amazing contractors that spruced up my house nicer than I would've imagined for far less than I could've arranged on my own. Hi Gary, I just wanted to thank you for the incredible service that you provided in the recent sale of my home in Bellevue. I bought a new home in Seattle with no contingencies and a closing date of June 1. The selling realtor works the Eastside and asked if he could list my home. I invited him over to take a look and he offered up a sales price of$480,000. I told him that I couldn't do the deal for that selling price and needed over $500,000 to complete the deal in Seattle. I had spoken to Gary two years previously when I was thinking of moving and he had walked through the house and said it needed a lot
of work. I agreed, as I had a couple of remodel projects in the works that weren't completed. Well, I called Gary again.The house hadn't changed appreciably. He walked through, grimaced here and there, scratched his head and said, "well with a little work and completing the remodel we can get $525,000". That's more like it I said and we struck a dea1. About half-way through the completion of the cleanup, Gary came in and said, "this place is looking pretty nice, I think I'll raise the asking price to $535,000, you don't mind do you?" What do you think? We finally got it listed May 18, 2 weeks till my Seattle closing. Gary brought in a full price offer 3 days later with closing on June 8th. My sellers in Seattle agreed to a closing date of June 9th and everyone was happy! Gary pulled a rabbit out of the hat on this sale. I was sweating bullets and way over stressed, but Gary was cool as a cucumber and brought it all together.Thanks Gary for all the. hard work and helping me get through this deal in much better shape than "Brand B Realty" would have had me selling for.

I listed my house in Lake Hills in October of 1999 with a friend of mine for $335,000 and after that, I tried to sell it myself for less. Gary did it again. A few years ago we were really having trouble selling two homes in the North Bend area with two different agents. Luckily we heard about Gary and his uncanny ability to stage and sell homes fast. We called Gary and he knew right away why the homes were not selling. To all my friends in the Littletree and Braeburn areas, I've lived here longer than most of you, I'm older than most of you, and up until a few months ago, I thought I was a little "wiser" than most of you, until I made a BIG MISTAKE. I was going to sell my home so I naturally called Gary Stapp and had him come over. He told me what I needed to do to my home to sell it, and how much it was worth. There are two things we don't like to do. One is buying a new car and the other is selling a house. After Gary Stapp made a quick walk through our home and made a few suggestions regarding staging and presentation, the result was a firm, full-price offer after being on the market for only four days! It was almost a disaster! Despite all the sweat labor we had put into our home and picking who we thought was one of the top agents in the business, we thought we were ready to sell our home. Boy were we wrong. After a month or so had gone by and nothing was happening, lucky for us, a relative gave us Gary's number. We needed help badly, so we called Gary. When Gary showed up on the scene he stood in our driveway sizing up the front of our home a long while before ringing the door bell. He then introduced himself and got right down to business analyzing the inside and outside of our home and what needed to be done. We sat down and in five minutes of hearing what he had to say, we knew he was exactly what we had been looking for all along. He has an incredible knack at seeing all the things that home owners tend to overlook - but things that are critically important. Gary showed us the pictures of our home on the internet and the Multiple Listing Service taken by the other agent with one of those cameras that distort things and make them look bigger than they really are. It didn't really look like our home and even the color was distorted and not realistic. After heeding all of Gary's advice (with a lot of his help) and the help of some great pictures and flyers, the foot traffic started rolling in. We received several offers in a short amount oftime. One thing for sure, hanging up a sign in front of your home and posting it for sale before it is ready is a huge mistake. That other agent thought it was ready and so did we. Live and learn. If you are looking for an agent that backs up their talk with walk - Gary is your guy.
